Leadership
In
the Catholic tradition, Father McGivney Catholic High School
will reach far beyond its walls, far beyond its curriculum,
far beyond even its students. Father McGivney Catholic High
School will serve the Church by attracting families, educating
the community, and leading by example as it nurtures the moral
and spiritual formation of tomorrow's leaders.
The
initiative to bring Father McGivney Catholic High School to
life is led by an accomplished group of religious and lay
leaders with broad experience and diverse backgrounds. Many
members of the Board of Directors are involved in important
civic and parish organizations throughout southern Madison
County, including serving on boards and committees of area
Catholic schools. Father McGivney Catholic High School is
blessed to have such strong inspired leadership.<
In
addition to commissioning an independent feasibility study
which included more than 100 interviews and a market research
survey, the Father McGivney Catholic High School Board of
Directors (formally organized as Catholic School for Me) researched
every Catholic high school in the United States that has opened
since 2000. The past few years of planning and research have
led to the organization of formal committees and the creation of a detailed timeline of events and milestones
that will lead up to the opening of Father McGivney Catholic
High School in fall 2011.
